"Blood ain't thicker than peace."
2 Chronicles 33,
20 So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
21 Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem.
22 But he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;
23 And humbled not himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
24 And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.
25 But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
The Father, King Manasseh, crossed Jehovah GOD and GOD let him get in a situation he could not talk his way out. Manasseh repented and followed GOD like a cat to milk. Manasseh's son, King Amon was on a Cain family reunion with sin. And must have said within himself, if my dad is forgiven then I shall be forgiven 7 times 70. He was wrong. That's like the two thieves on the cross with Jesus, one believed and went to heaven with Jesus for a last minute recognition of truth. The other went to hell for holding on the the same pride that got him jammed up on the cross of death. The blood of sin falls off the cliff. The blood of Jesus washes away sin. FORGIVEN.
